Hudson's Bay is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to join our team at the Cambridge Centre location. As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating loss prevention risks across all aspects of store operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to assist in the coordination of asset protection initiatives. This includes conducting thorough audits, developing and implementing effective solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

What You Will Do

  • Actively participate in the development and execution of asset protection strategies to minimize losses and optimize store performance
  • Conduct regular store audits to identify operational deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective solutions to address loss prevention risks
  • Detect and deter shoplifting, and complete related documentation as required
  • Work closely with the Asset Protection Manager to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our loss prevention strategies

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A valid security license specific to your region/market (exception applies to Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan)
  • Awareness of retail procedures and civil proceedings is an asset
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
