We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
- College/CEGEP education in nursing.
