Job Description

As an Equipment Inventory Coordinator with Bayshore HealthCare, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our equipment inventory levels are adequate to meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Confirm rental of equipment with patients, HCCSSs, and subcontractors via phone calls.
  • Schedule pickups of equipment and bio-waste with patients, family members, or caregivers.
  • Ensure requisitions are sent by HCCSSs and subcontractors.
  • Maintain open communication with logistics teams and drivers to ensure timely pickups.
  • Communicate with finance regarding equipment rental billing.
  • Follow up with missed pickups and reschedule with patients.
  • Notify patients about preventative maintenance schedules and arrange pump replacements.
  • Identify errors related to HCCSS contracts.
  • Manage inventory, documentation, and control of client equipment, including infusion pumps, chargers, poles, bolus cords, and accessories.
  • Record client equipment locations, usage, maintenance, repairs, and returns in computer systems.
  • Perform administrative duties, daily reports, and participate in ongoing education activities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years of customer service or administrative experience with large volumes of correspondence.
  • 1-2 years of experience in call centers/customer service environments and use of computers within Windows environments.
  • Excellent customer service skills, empathetic, problem solver, active listener, with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals in English, and understand basic medical terminology.
  • Basic mathematical calculations and ability to sit for long periods while on the phone or computer.
