About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Supervisor to join our team at Trade Craft Inc. as a Project Manager - Trades. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong background in construction management, supervision, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from start to finish.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of carpenters, apprentices, trades helpers, and labourers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex construction-related issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular project reports to management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in construction management, supervision, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of construction professionals.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and any other relevant certifications or licenses.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. The successful candidate will be required to work at construction sites, which can be noisy and physically demanding.
