Meat Department Assistant

At Metro Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Meat Department team as an Assistant Meat Department. This role is a key part of our store operations and requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:- Receive, price, stock, rotate, and merchandise products to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the Meat Department is ready for business at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Implement and adhere to our Customer Service Policy, providing a positive shopping experience for our customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, including supporting the Meat Manager in ensuring department standards are met.
- Support overall store operations, including store opening and closing.
- Meat experience with excellent product knowledge and rotation and merchandising experience.
- Superior customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, twist, and turn, and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Availability to work days, evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays, as per the C.B.A.
