Job Title: Mainframe Developer/Analyst
About the Role:
CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Developer/Analyst to join our team. As a Mainframe Developer/Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for our clients in the financial industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Analyze business needs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Design and develop software applications using Mainframe technologies such as COBOL and CICS.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Document software solutions and ensure that they are properly maintained and updated.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Mainframe technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Mainframe technologies, including COBOL and CICS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
