Job Title: Mainframe Developer/Analyst

About the Role:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Developer/Analyst to join our team. As a Mainframe Developer/Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for our clients in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business solutions
  • Analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions to meet those needs
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using Mainframe technologies
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Document technical solutions and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Mainframe technologies and trends

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Mainframe (ZOS) and Cobol programming languages
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
