We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Planning Manager to join our team at Vancity.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of financial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership abilities. As a Senior Financial Planning Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to senior leaders across various lines of business.

You will establish business partner relationships with senior leaders, provide financial reporting and analysis, and develop forecasting, planning, and analytical models. Additionally, you will maintain an accurate view of the business' financial performance and provide advice on initiatives.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, or Business Administration from a recognized institution. You should also possess a Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada) designation or equivalent. A minimum of two years of experience at a senior consultant level or higher is preferred, but not necessary.

As a strong candidate, you will demonstrate exceptional business acumen, communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of related finance concepts, and problem-solving skills. You will also be able to develop innovative business solutions and assess risks and opportunities that may affect the unit.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, or Business Administration from a recognized post-secondary institution (or equivalent)
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada) designation or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience at a senior consultant level or higher, would be an asset

Vancity offers a competitive salary range of $81,200 to $101,600 per year, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
