Senior Financial Planning Specialist

Tenet Builder is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Planning Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning and services, accounting, and finance.
About the RoleWe are offering a competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a permanent full-time position with 40 hours of work per week.
Job DescriptionAs a Senior Financial Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll
- Calculating fixed assets and depreciation
- Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements
- Posting journal entries
- Preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Preparing tax returns
- Reconciling accounts
- Managing finances or budget
You will also be required to design and manage investment strategies, oversee payroll administration, and maintain accurate financial records.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in financial planning and services, accounting, and finance
- Detailed knowledge of database software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, Quick Books, Simply Accounting, MS Office, and spreadsheet skills
- Familiarity with financial reports and technical or specialized editing
- Able to work independently, under tight deadlines, and under pressure
- Possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, reliability, time management, and team player qualities
