We're seeking a skilled Floor Director to join our team of professionals for Breakfast Television in Toronto, ON. As a key member of our production team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of live broadcasts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise between studio floor and production control room to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Prepare and ready on-camera personnel for productions, ensuring they're well-rehearsed and confident.
  • Assist on-air talent as required while in studio or on-location, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Coordinate studio activities as required by the control room director in a live or tape studio situation, ensuring a high-quality broadcast.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the production team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in a television production and post-production environment.
  • Demonstrate initiative and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of success in a team environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive team environment, fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Degree or diploma in Broadcasting, with a strong understanding of the aesthetics and program flow.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing situations.
