About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floor Director to join our team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of live television productions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise between the studio floor and production control room to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Prepare and ready on-camera personnel for productions, ensuring they are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Assist on-air talent as required, providing support and guidance during live studio or on-location productions.
  • Coordinate studio activities as required by the control room director, ensuring a smooth and efficient production process.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the production team.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a television production and post-production environment.
  • Demonstrate initiative and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive team environment, fostering collaboration and open communication among team members.
  • Degree or diploma in Broadcasting or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the aesthetics and program flow of live television productions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
