Dynamic Team Member Wanted for Rogers Sports & Media

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Floor Director. As a key member of our Breakfast Television team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless studio operations and providing exceptional support to our on-air talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between studio floor and production control room to ensure smooth communication and coordination
  • Prepare and ready on-camera personnel for productions, ensuring they are well-rehearsed and confident
  • Assist on-air talent as required, providing guidance and support during live and tape studio situations
  • Coordinate studio activities as directed by the control room director, ensuring timely and efficient execution
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the production team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a television production and post-production environment
  • Demonstrate initiative and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of success in a team environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain a positive team dynamic, fostering open communication and collaboration
  • Degree or diploma in Broadcasting, with a strong understanding of program flow and aesthetics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations
