Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Floor Director to join our team of professionals at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our Breakfast Television team in Toronto, ON, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of live studio productions.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise between the studio floor and production control room to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Prepare and ready on-camera personnel for productions, ensuring they are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
Assist on-air talent as required, providing support and guidance during studio or on-location productions.
Coordinate studio activities as required by the control room director in a live or tape studio situation.

Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a television production and post-production environment.
Demonstrate initiative and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining a positive team environment.
Possess a degree or diploma in Broadcasting, with a strong understanding of the aesthetics and program flow.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced live studio environment.
