Job Summary

GTA Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, and repair or replace defective machinery parts.
  • Equipment Installation: Install new machinery and equipment, and ensure that all installations are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting: Use your expertise to troubleshoot complex problems and identify solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
