Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright Mechanic to join our team at Lassonde Beverages Canada Plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize and maintain various machinery and mechanical equipment, including pumps, conveyors, belts, and fans.
  • Inspect completed repairs and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Disassemble machines and repair or replace parts as needed.
  • Clean and lubricate equipment, parts, and machinery to prevent wear and tear.
  • Estimate time and material costs for electrical and mechanical projects.
  • Request supplies and materials as needed.
  • Complete work orders and ensure follow-up communication with team members.
  • Provide performance feedback to workers to motivate or improve adherence to operating procedures or quality standards.
Requirements
  • Diploma from an accredited educational institution in a related mechanical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
  • Experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Valid Millwright Certificate.
  • Thorough knowledge of all applicable safety legislation.

  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (read, write, and speak).
