Industrial Millwright Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright Mechanic to join our team at Lassonde Beverages Canada Plant. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize and maintain various machinery and mechanical equipment, including pumps, conveyors, belts, and fans.
- Inspect completed repairs and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and safety.
- Disassemble machines and repair or replace parts as needed.
- Clean and lubricate equipment, parts, and machinery to prevent wear and tear.
- Estimate time and material costs for electrical and mechanical projects.
- Request supplies and materials as needed.
- Complete work orders and ensure follow-up communication with team members.
- Provide performance feedback to workers to motivate or improve adherence to operating procedures or quality standards.
- Diploma from an accredited educational institution in a related mechanical field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
- Experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Valid Millwright Certificate.
- Thorough knowledge of all applicable safety legislation.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (read, write, and speak).
