Cashier Operations Manager

Job Title: Cashier Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cashier Supervisor to join our team at Rikas Grocers Ltd. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cashiers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Ensure that all returns are processed efficiently and accurately, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Generate detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Effectively manage and resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that stock is properly stored and rotated.
- Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of security and integrity.
- Opening and Closing Procedures: Perform opening and closing activities, including counting tills, reconciling cash, and securing the store.
Requirements:
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service and sales.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent use of computer and communication equipment.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, reliable, team player, dependable, and ability to multitask.
