Cashier Team Lead

Rikas Grocers Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and organized Cashier Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail store operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless customer service, efficient cash handling, and effective inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer returns, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Generate detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages in a professional and timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring stock is properly stored and rotated.
- Supervise Cashiers: Lead and coordinate the activities of cashiers, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Opening and Closing Procedures: Perform opening and closing activities, including cash handling, inventory checks, and store security.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced retail environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Accurate: Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
