Cashier Supervisor Job Description

Rikas Grocers Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cashier Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail store operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of returns and exchanges.
  • Prepare Sales Reports: Generate reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate activities of cashiers, ensuring excellent customer service and store efficiency.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash transactions accurately and securely.
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: Perform opening and closing activities, including cash handling and store security checks.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
