Humber River Health, a leading healthcare institution in North West Toronto, is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Planning and Costing Manager to join its Analytics and Business Insight team. About the Role

This Temporary Full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a growing team of professionals and engage with hospital leadership to drive sound business analysis, utilization management, and costing methodologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing reporting processes that provide insightful analysis to support business and clinical needs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, including performance management, coaching, mentoring, and goal setting. They will also have advanced knowledge of large datasets, health information management, and case costing database systems.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight and management of a professional team of Senior Business Analysts and Data Integrity Analysts
  • Development of reporting processes and products to support business and clinical needs
  • Submission and reconciliation of routine regulatory reporting to Ontario Health / Ministry of Health
  • Coordination of corporate and program business / financial performance through month-end variance analysis
  • Liaison with senior management and the Case Costing team regarding use of case cost data for decision-making
Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in financial planning and costing, preferably with 3-5 years of experience in a hospital setting. A undergraduate degree in Business Management, Health Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent is required. Advanced MS Office Suite skills, including Excel, MS Access, and Word, are essential.
