Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Costing Manager to join our Analytics and Business Insight team on a Temporary Full-time basis for 24 months. The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight and coordination to a growing team of professionals, driving sound business analysis, utilization management, and costing methodologies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a professional team of Senior Business Analysts and Data Integrity Analysts, including performance management, coaching, mentoring, and goal setting.
  • Develop and implement reporting processes that provide insightful analysis to support business and clinical needs.
  • Manage regulatory reporting submissions and reconcile routine reports with Ontario Health/Ministry of Health.
  • Coordinate corporate and program business/financial performance through month-end variance analysis.
  • Liaise with senior management and the Case Costing team regarding data-driven decisions on efficiency opportunities, funding proposals, annual financial budgets, and quality-based procedure performance.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • An Undergraduate Degree in Business Management, Health Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of hospital experience in decision support, financial analysis, and/or utilization management.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills (Excel, MS Access, Word).
  • Strong knowledge of large datasets stored in hospital source systems, extraction, and manipulation.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Hospital Reporting Standards, health utilization concepts, and databases.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $140,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
