About the Role

This is a key position for a motivated and experienced Scrum Master who will facilitate agile development processes, create and sustain high-performing agile teams, and ensure efficient sprint planning and execution.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Facilitate agile development process, create and sustain high-performing agile teams, and help them deliver high-quality software.
  2. Conduct all needed agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinement, sprint review, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, Scrum of Scrums, and monthly release deployment activities.
  3. Ensure execution efficiency by owning efficient sprint planning, maintaining optimal velocity, and promoting code quality and production readiness.
  4. Coach teams in the adoption of agile software development practices, including product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, release schedules, and delivery planning.
  5. Periodic reporting on team performance using agile metrics, including burndowns, Cumulative Flow Diagrams, Control Charts, sprint reports, and test reports.
  6. Familiarity with SAFe framework and Program Increment planning, collaborating with RTE to conduct PI planning sessions with agile team members and stakeholders.
  7. Subject matter expert in Confluence and JIRA, including creation of swimlanes and dashboards, running JQL queries, and customizing filters.
  8. Work with various global stakeholders, including product owners, lines of business, QA teams, release management, change advisory boards, and project management offices.
  9. Develop and nurture strong partnerships with product owners, business users, and other delivery partners.
  10. Influence a wide range of stakeholders to remove impediments and maximize team output.
  11. Encourage open communication and collaborative problem-solving to pave the way for faster removal of impediments and minimize the impact of mistakes.
  12. Identify, manage, and help mitigate issues and risks, with particular emphasis on timely removal of impediments for the team.
  13. Facilitate discovering and enacting continuous improvement strategies to increase team productivity and quality of deliverables.

Requirements
  1. 5-10 years of experience with software development life cycles.
  2. 3-5 years of Scrum Master experience in a recent project or initiative within a true agile environment.
  3. Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban practices, Confluence, JIRA, collaboration tools, and reporting.
  4. Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation projects with global and cross-functional teams in agile environments.
  5. Strong knowledge of Scrum Management, Sprint, and Release planning.
  6. Excellent interpersonal communication and facilitation skills and proven ability to work with global teams.
  7. Proficiency in JIRA, MS Office tools, and strong data analysis skills using MS Excel.
  8. Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts.

Certifications/Qualifications
  1. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), SAFe Scrum Master, or similar certifications.
  2. Bachelor's degree or university degree or equivalent experience.
  3. Master's degree preferred.
