Job Title: Senior Scrum Master & Project Manager

Job Summary:

Astra North Infoteck Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master & Project Manager to lead our Scrum team in delivering high-quality projects on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and guide the team towards a common goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate Scrum Events: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and progress.
  2. Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles hindering the team's progress.
  3. Coach the Team: Guide the team on Scrum practices and principles, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.
  4. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  2. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  3. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure financial resources are used efficiently.
  4. Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  5. Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, progress, and any issues.

Required Skills:

  1. SQL Knowledge: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
  2. Agile and Scrum Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
  3. Project Management Tools: Proficiency in tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
  4. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
  5. Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to address project challenges and team issues.
  6. Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  7. Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  8. Technical Acumen: Understanding of software development processes and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in Agile project management and Scrum Master roles.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  3. Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Agile Practitioner (CAPM) certification.
