Job Title: Recreational Therapy Aide

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recreational Therapy Aide to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Recreational Therapy Aide will assist in the planning and implementation of recreational activities, programs, and events that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of recreational activities, programs, and events
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
  • Collect specimens
  • Bathe, dress and groom patients
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Supply and empty bed pans
  • Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
  • Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Tuberculosis test
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will work in a team environment and be required to use your initiative and problem-solving skills to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.
