Job Title: Recreational Therapy Aide

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapy Aide to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Recreational Therapy Aide will be responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of recreational activities and programs for our residents. This includes transporting patients in wheelchairs or stretchers, supervising exercise routines, serving meal trays, and maintaining patients' rooms.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients
  • Maintain patients' rooms and inventory of supplies
  • Collect specimens and assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
  • Answer call signals and deliver messages, reports, and requisitions between departments
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Nursing Aide Certificate
  • Criminal record check, immunization records, and tuberculosis test
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring attention to detail and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
