About the Role

The Senior Retail Leader for Store Operations oversees the daily retail store operations at Dollarama L.P. This key position plays a vital part in ensuring a positive and consistent shopping experience for customers while generating consumer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Manage resources to maximize results and maintain store appearance by ensuring adequate inventory levels;
  • Lead and develop a team of Assistant-Managers, Key Holders, and Store Associates to achieve exceptional performance;
  • Ensure company rules and regulations are explained and followed by all team members;
  • Manage work schedules according to budgeted hours and business needs;
  • Resolve customer complaints, questions, and inquiries efficiently;
  • Conduct accurate and timely inventory counts to ensure proper resupply of goods;
  • Maintain store opening/closing and asset management procedures;
  • Act as primary contact person for store alarm system issues;
  • Foster a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety standards;
  • Operate cash registers with accuracy and efficiency;

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the retail industry, including at least 2 years in a management position;
  • Flexibility regarding availability and work schedules (day, evening, weekend);
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment;
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an estimated annual salary of $80,000 - $100,000 based on location and experience. Benefits include opportunities for professional growth and development within a leading Canadian retail organization.
