Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a primary care physician to join our team of experienced healthcare professionals at the Annapolis Community Health Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Experience working in an emergency department is an asset, but not required.
As a primary care physician with the Annapolis Collaborative Practice, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve patient care and outcomes.
About This Opportunity- This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual salary of $250,000-$300,000 based on experience and qualifications.
- Provide comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in primary care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Demonstrated expertise in primary care, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- This position requires a high level of physical and mental stamina, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and will have excellent time management and organizational skills.
