The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting BAFTA's vision and purpose to external audiences through media channels, including national, consumer, and trade press. This role requires creativity, drive, and excellent media management skills, with established relationships with key film and TV trade press outlets.

The Head of PR & Communications will identify, plan for, and manage potential reputational risk and high-profile PR crises, reporting to the Executive Director of Engagement, Marketing and Communications. The role involves influencing key stakeholders within BAFTA, providing PR support and guidance on media handling, and building relationships with media editors to generate positive press coverage and sentiment about BAFTA.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement effective PR strategies to promote BAFTA's vision and purpose
  • Manage media relationships and secure positive press coverage
  • Identify and mitigate potential reputational risk and high-profile PR crises
