We are seeking a highly skilled Women\u2019s Health Specialist to join our team at Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services - Central Zone. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in the fields of gynecology and obstetrics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in medicine, with a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry. Experience in the field is an asset, but not required.

The Women\u2019s Health Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing diseases and physiological disorders, conducting medical research, and prescribing post-operation medication and treatment. They will also be responsible for treating diseases, injuries, and deformities, as well as conducting microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and developments.

Key responsibilities of the Women\u2019s Health Specialist include:

  • Diagnosing diseases and physiological disorders
  • Conducting medical research
  • Prescribing post-operation medication and treatment
  • Treating diseases, injuries, and deformities
  • Conducting microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens

The Women\u2019s Health Specialist will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. They will also be required to maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
