Financial Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Financial Project Coordinator to join our team at Green Infrastructure Partners. This is a key role in ensuring the financial management and control of our projects.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Monitor and manage project budgets and costs, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Liaise with project teams to gather cost information and consult on accounting issues.
- Carry out site visits to monitor project progress and ensure that accounting processes are in place.
- Prepare and assist with month-end close process for all GIP Interpaving projects.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of supporting schedules, including job status reports, cost reports, and unbilled revenue/AR aging explanations.
- Support the team in setting up project cost codes and baseline budgets in estimating software.
- Execute journal entries as required by each project.
- Post-secondary education preferred.
- 2 years' experience in project administration, project accounting, or cost control.
- Intermediate level of computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with JDE is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Valid G driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and accuracy.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
