Sirius Personnel is a leading placement and headhunting agency specializing in sales and marketing professionals in Canada. We are currently seeking an experienced Software Sales Representative to join our team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling cloud-based software solutions to corporate legal professionals in Calgary. This is a home-based position that requires a strong track record of software sales, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling to existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and/or exceed sales quota
- Call on existing clients to uncover needs for additional services and products
- Identify target accounts within your territory
- Maintain a healthy pipeline, as set out by your manager
- Position company products and services
- Build and maintain strong relationships
- Update CRM (Salesforce) regularly
- Maintain company-set KPIs
- Forecast sales, monthly
Requirements
- Development vs Maintenance: 60% vs 40% (development within existing accounts as well)
- Road vs Office: 40% vs 60%
- Languages: Excellent written and spoken English
- Education: University degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Training: Full on-the-job training provided
- Overnight Travel: approximately 15 nights per year
- Years of experience: At least 5 years in a similar role with a track record
- Transferable contacts: Has sold into corporate business units
- Transferable Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of territory planning and forecasting
- Ability to collaborate across different departments
What We Offer
- Base salary: $80,000-$100,000
- Commissions/Bonus: $64,000 at 100%, uncapped commissions
- Car allowance: $0.60/km
- Expense's reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed
