Systems Engineer for Naval Communications

L3Harris Technologies is a leading provider of advanced defense and commercial technologies. We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in the development and verification of naval communications systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of verification and validation, including testing design, planning, automation, and execution. They will work closely with embedded software designers, hardware designers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver a product of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of naval communications systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
- Design and implement automated testing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Communicate technical information to stakeholders and provide training as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with integration and test of military or commercial systems
- Knowledge of naval communication systems and protocols
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scripting languages and test automation tools
- Knowledge of IBM DOORS and military standards
- Proficient in MS Office tools
