At Busaba Thai Cafe, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a positive and productive team environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food service management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
