About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our mechanical team, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various commercial and institutional buildings and complexes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial and institutional buildings and complexes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet client objectives.
  • Manage project financial reviews and maintain budgets.
  • Participate in client management, business development, and proposal preparation activities.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Currently registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or other Canadian Province or Territory.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and Revit.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards, including the National Building Code, ASHRAE, and NFPA.
