About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 21 Steps kitchen + bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we are operating within budget and minimizing waste.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality in the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends.
