Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Director to lead the development and implementation of supply strategies that support our business objectives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing our corporate social responsibility strategy in terms of global supply and rolling out the strategy to achieve the objectives and intended targets of reducing CO2 emissions in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee contract negotiation, risk assessment, and mitigation, as well as strategic relationships with suppliers and performance management.
  • Direct the team and improve its performance.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Make strategic recommendations regarding the future of the global supply function.
  • Optimize internal processes and interfaces to improve efficiency and productivity to support our growth plan.
  • Define annual objectives, including targets for increasing profit margin, in collaboration with operating units and finance departments, and have full responsibility for achieving them.
  • Support the management of main strategic suppliers to promote continuous improvement and identify new opportunities offering exceptional value to BRP and our customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, master's degree in business administration, or postgraduate degree in supply chain.
  • At least 10 years' experience in strategic supply and relevant experience in manufacturing industries.
  • Proven skills in negotiation, forming partnerships with suppliers, and decompartmentalized management in a large business.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills; comfortable liaising with senior managers and giving clear, concise, and well-planned presentations to them.
  • Fluency in French and English, as this role requires negotiations with non-French-speaking suppliers in the United States and elsewhere in the world, and the role is performed in a French-speaking environment.
