Psychologist (Masters) Adult - Mental Health & Addictions Specialist

Reporting to the Manager, Adult Outpatient - Mental Health & Addictions, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based psychological assessments and treatments to individuals with Tier-3 Mental Disorders and Substance Use Disorders. Services will be provided within a Stepped Care framework, guided by disorder-based clinical care pathways. Each clinician will participate in a consultation group to ensure collegial support and effectiveness of assessments and treatments.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a Masters in Psychology and registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' clinical experience working in the field of Mental Health & Addictions and demonstrated knowledge of time-limited evidence-based psychological assessments and treatments for Mental Disorders and Substance Use Disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based psychological assessments and treatments to individuals with Tier-3 Mental Disorders and Substance Use Disorders
- Work within a Stepped Care framework, guided by disorder-based clinical care pathways
- Participate in a consultation group to ensure collegial support and effectiveness of assessments and treatments
- Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical supervision, learning and professional development
- Provide culturally informed, non-judgmental patient and family-centered care
Permanent Full-time Position, 75 Hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Incentives$37.31 - $49.05 Hourly
