About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist (Masters) to join our team in Adult Mental Health & Addictions. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based psychological assessments and treatments to individuals with Tier-3 Mental Disorders and Substance Use Disorders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology and registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP)
  • A minimum of two years' clinical experience working in the field of Mental Health & Addictions
  • Demonstrated knowledge of time-limited evidence-based psychological assessments and treatments for Mental Disorders and Substance Use Disorders
  • Experience working in a Stepped Care framework and commitment to clinical care pathways
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives
Hours

This is a permanent full-time position, with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule.

Compensation and Incentives

The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $49.05, as well as access to our comprehensive benefits package and pension plan.
