Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our winter maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you'll safely operate a combo unit, performing snow removal on local roads and highways as per contract requirements.
You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service, as well as performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a combo unit to perform snow removal on local roads and highways
- Maintain accurate documentation, including fuel reports, safety reports, and hours of service
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Familiarize yourself with route maps and sand/salt application rates
- Meet call-in requirements during winter storm events
- BZ, DZ, or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract required
- Available to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes
- Ability to work assigned shifts, extended hours, and respond to winter events
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs
