We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose and manage respiratory conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
