Respiratory Therapist

As a Respiratory Therapist with the Nova Scotia Health Authority, you will play a vital role in the initiation and management of mechanical ventilation and advanced airway management. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve physician goals for patients' cardiorespiratory status. Your responsibilities will include delivering and managing the administration of oxygen and other compressed gases, aerosolized medications, and high humidity therapies. You will also perform and interpret related pulmonary diagnostic testing.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you may be involved in patient or staff education sessions. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

We are looking for a qualified Respiratory Therapist who has a strong background in respiratory care and is registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists. You will have a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Hours & Locations- Various permanent, assignments (temporary), and casual relief opportunities available in various locations throughout Nova Scotia
- Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

- $41.26 hourly
