About the RoleThis is a permanent position with an estimated salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination and management, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the flow of goods and shipments from origin to destination
- Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
- Review and evaluate existing procedures to identify areas for improvement
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Resolve conflict situations and provide excellent customer service
- Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Plan and control budget and expenditures
- Liaise with departmental and corporate officials and with other organizations and associations
- Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business administration, logistics)
- 2 years of experience in project coordination and management
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Travel may be required occasionally.
