Power BI Reporting Specialist

Job Summary

Westlake is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the administration of plant reporting focused on Power BI and various other software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update existing Power BI/MS apps (Office 365) dashboards daily to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop new Power BI/MS apps (Office 365) dashboards with direction from Operations to support business decision-making.
  • Modify and improve existing Power BI/MS apps (Office 365) to optimize performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with production and process personnel to identify data gaps and automate processes to improve efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of electronic recordkeeping and paperless processes across Canadian sites (WB and AB) with potential expansion to US sites.
  • Perform minor travel as required to support site operations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications and Power BI/MS apps (Office 365).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Oracle/JDE is an asset.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
