Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Cybersecurity Expert to join our team at NexGedia Enterprise. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Network Solution Delivery: Participate in the delivery of network solutions, including pre-configuration, detailed architecture, installation, configuration, integration, validation, troubleshooting, progress reporting, and documentation.
  2. On-Site Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and test solutions at customer sites, resolving problems, opening and tracking tickets, and escalating processes as required.
  3. Partner Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners, strategic partners, and other complementary partners.
  4. Network Optimization: Participate in network optimization studies to ensure efficient and secure network operations.
  5. Network Engineering: Analyze, design, and document scalable network engineering solutions.
  6. Telecommunications Infrastructure: Configure, maintain, and support telecommunications infrastructures.
  7. WiFi Architecture: Participate in WiFi architecture and design projects for various customers.
  8. Professional Development: Acquire and maintain skills and certifications to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in networking and security.
  2. Telecommunications Technologies: Five (5) years of experience with telecommunications technologies.
  3. LAN, WAN, and WLAN Technologies: Mastery of LAN, WAN, and WLAN technologies.
  4. Data Center Networks: Designed and deployed T2/T3/T4 data center networks.
  5. Network Protocols: Knowledge of Level 2 protocols (Ethernet, Spanning-tree, ARP, MAC) and Level 3 routing (OSPF, BGP).
  6. Network Security: Knowledge of network security technologies (firewalling) and wireless solutions.
  7. Vendor Solutions: Knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco, CheckPoint solutions (a plus).
  8. Language Skills: Written and spoken bilingual English-French: presentations and frequent writing of documents.
  9. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, creativity, and critical thinking.
  10. Relationship Building: Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with colleagues and clients.
  11. Professional Development: Ability to keep abreast of the latest technological developments.
  12. Certifications: CCNP certification a plus.
