Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to administer our company's Microsoft servers, communication equipment, and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and performance of our network, as well as providing technical support and guidance to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Microsoft servers, including Active Directory, GPO, and file servers.
  • Manage communication equipment, such as firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Ensure the security of our network and propose improvements to enhance security.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance, availability, and security.
  • Manage user access and permissions on the network and with Office 365.
  • Monitor and resolve security alerts by analyzing logs, reports, and tools.
  • Document and maintain network management documentation and processes.
  • Manage system updates outside of regular working hours.
Requirements:
  • DEC in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in server and network equipment administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012 to 2022 environments.
  • Good knowledge of network principles, including DHCP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, TCP/IP routing, and SD-WAN.
  • Good knowledge of cloud services with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle.
  • Microsoft certification, CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent (asset).
  • Knowledge of industry standards, such as ISO27001/2, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, ITIL, and COBIT (asset).
