Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Makka Halal Meats and Grocery. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meats: Clean and cut meats to prepare for processing or cutting, cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, and prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
- Meat Handling and Preparation: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, wrap and package prepared meats, remove bones from meat, and weigh meats for sale.
- Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, slice cooked meats, and prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced supermarket environment, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: Experience an asset, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
