About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant, Information Technology Compliance to join our Technology Operations Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and consultation on risk, regulatory, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and interpret complex information to lead the technology risk stream of compliance programs and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, recommend, and facilitate activities required for the continuous management of compliance programs.
  • Manage the response for the Technology Domain in accordance with CIBC's Regulatory Compliance Management Policy and Technology Risk Management Policy.
  • Monitor the regulatory landscape impacting CIBC from a technology perspective and ensure regulatory developments are assessed, managed, and tracked in our central repository.
Requirements
  • 3-4+ years of experience in a compliance role leading and maintaining programs with the ability to elicit requirements and write strong documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel pivot tables, Visio, and other Microsoft office applications.
