About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Change Management Professional to join our team at Island Health. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to drive change management initiatives and support organizational success.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a health-related field or social sciences, with a minimum of five years' experience working in a healthcare environment. A proven track record in project or change management, strategic planning, and patient engagement is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Liaise with health professionals, family physicians, patients, and community groups/programs/services to build partnerships and advance health services.
  • Facilitate large-scale change initiatives with multiple stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a health-related field or social sciences.
  • Minimum five years' experience in project or change management, strategic planning, and patient engagement.
  • Change Management certification is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to teach using adult learning principles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and e-mail systems.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum.
