Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare, providing exceptional nursing care to our residents in the Coburg-area.
Responsibilities
- To deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the resident's plan of care.
- Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and its services.
- Ensure safe and timely resident transfers and discharges.
- Ensure the safekeeping and control of drugs and narcotics, adhering to established protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Effective, compassionate, and supportive interaction with others.
- Respect for each resident's individuality and right to self-respect and privacy.
- Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal statutes influencing the operation of the nursing home and nursing department.
- Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
- Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
- Clear Criminal Record check.
- Proof of vaccination and adherence to COVID-19 prevention protocols.
