About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Barry Glotman. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Laundry and Ironing: Mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Guest Services: Provide basic information on facilities, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, honesty, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

Our private residence is a non-smoking environment, and we require our staff to be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
